Uptown Westerville Farmer's Market

These are a few of my ideas for the ad campaign project. I really wanted to do something for the farmer's market. My design style is very clean cut and organized, and I thought that went well with the idea of a farmer's market. I wanted to use fresh fruit or vegetables as the focus of the ad.

This was one of the first ideas I came up with. I went with a cut paper vegetable rather than a photography- mainly because I'm not much of a photographer and was more comfortable with cut paper. I also really liked the feel of the very clean lines. The first tag line I came up with was "home grown for you."

This is the second idea I came up with. I still kept the same layout and idea for the vegetable, but I messed around with the tag line and placement of everything. I changed the tag line "Only fresh. Only for you." I think it got the point across more clearly- that the fruit is home grown and not grown for a business, but rather for the people buying it.

These are my final pieces for the ad campaign. I added the graphic squares for multiple reasons. For one, I thought it added interest to the ads visually. Secondly, I wanted the audience for the posters to be more dynamic. Appealing to a younger audience was my main goal. The older clients are going to continue going to the farmer's markets regardless of the ads put out there. I think lately, a younger crowd of people would appreciate these ads.
